Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a 2015 Indian romantic comedy-drama film directed by Anand L. Rai which serves as a sequel to the 2011 film Tanu Weds Manu. Kangana Ranaut, R. Madhavan and Jimmy Shergill reprise their roles from the original film. Ranaut also portrays the additional role of a Haryanvi athelete in it. The music and background score is composed by Krsna Solo and the lyrics are penned by Raj Shekhar. The film received positive reviews from critics upon release and Ranaut's performance was particularly praised. Made on a budget of ₹30 crore (US$4.8 million), Tanu Weds Manu Returns earned ₹65 crore (US$10 million) worldwide in its opening weekend.
